Job Summary
The Associate Store Manager (ASM) at United Dairy Farmers supports the Store Manager and shares responsibilities related to overall store operations, guest service, and staff management. The ASM manages training and coaching of associates, oversees guest experiences, handles store administration, and ensures the store's efficiency and compliance with regulations. This role requires effective communication, quick decision-making in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to lead the store operations to deliver exceptional customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to speak, hear and understand spoken English effectively
- Ability to operate store equipment including POS terminal and gas console
- Ability to prepare DipSide items
- Ability to handle various forms of payment accurately
- Ability to move merchandise and clean surfaces
- Ability to tolerate various temperature exposures
- Ability to raise a minimum of 10 pounds and handle packages weighing up to 21 pounds
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales
