Job Summary
Associate Staff Engineer - Mendix Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Mendix applications and custom widgets within the Hyperautomation service offering. Must lead with hands-on Mendix development, build domain models, microflows, and nanoflows, and implement responsive UI using CSS/SCSS. Roles include integrating external systems via REST/SOAP, implementing business logic and workflows, debugging, performance optimization, and ensuring security through proper roles and access rules. Collaboration with agile teams, business analysts, and stakeholders is required; experience with React or Streamlit is a valued plus. Hybrid work arrangement in Monterrey, MX (Monterrey, Nuevo León) with global team presence.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years of hands-on Mendix development experience
- Strong understanding of Mendix Studio Pro
- Experience building responsive web applications and workflows
- Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and integrations
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Mendix certification preferred
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- Must have Mendix as a core skill
- Nice-to-have: GitHub Actions, React
