Job Summary
The Associate Sourcing Manager will lead strategic sourcing initiatives across product categories, manage vendor/supplier relationships, and ensure pre-production deliverables align with design, quality, sustainability, and value goals. Responsibilities include developing and implementing sourcing strategies, vendor rationalization for cost and delivery improvements, monitoring pre-production activities, maintaining data/tracking tools, communicating project status to cross-functional partners, and supporting corporate and brand sustainability initiatives. Requires 1-3 years of experience in production, sourcing, QA or buying in retail/manufacturing, a Bachelor's degree (preferred), and strong MS Office skills. Must be onsite at the Portland, OR office Monday-Thursday; travel may be required. Williams-Sonoma, Inc. does not sponsor immigration visas for this position and relocation assistance is not available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 1-3 years of production, sourcing, QA or buying experience in a retail or manufacturing organization
- Proficient in MS Office Products – Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Ability to work onsite in Portland office Monday-Thursday
