Job Summary
Design and lead architecture for features in the Forescout eyeSight product line to enhance functionality and customer experience. Develop complex feature sets following detailed design concepts, then test, document, and deploy solutions within a Scrum team. Partner with architects, senior technical leaders, and product management to refine the roadmap, while mentoring junior developers and collaborating on enterprise-grade software delivery. Rapidly evaluate emerging security technologies to support global infrastructure protection.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
- Bachelor's or master's in computer science or related field
- 2+ years of industry experience developing software with Java
- 2+ years delivering production software
- Experience designing, implementing, testing, documenting, and delivering enterprise-grade software
- Hands-on experience with Java and either Perl or Python, or similar scripting language
- Experience with Linux and Windows with a strong preference for Linux experience
- Networking knowledge, like TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, SSH and other networking protocols, including the understanding of the OSI model
- Team player who has a 'get stuff done' approach with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to efficiently collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communications skills
- Must meet applicable federal eligibility requirements, including U.S. Person status
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government background investigation or security clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience developing APIs with Spring framework a plus
