Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications using .NET, Azure, and C# while writing high-performing, reusable code and unit tests. Collaborate with product managers and QA analysts to build new features, execute functional and integration tests, and diagnose software bugs before and after release. Contribute to all SDLC phases, create necessary documentation, and participate in code reviews to ensure industry standards are met. Work within an Agile environment using Azure DevOps and Git, focusing on delivering high-quality products on planned release cycles.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of development experience using C# .NET, MVC/Razor Pages, Web APIs
- Experience working with a relational database like SQL Server/Azure SQL/MySQL etc.
- Knowledge of ADO.NET/Entity Framework/ any other ORM
- Knowledge on AI tools like Github Copilot or Cursor or Claude
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Mongo DB/Azure Cosmos DB
- Proficiency in web development technologies like HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks (Angular/React or Vue.js)
- Understanding of Agile process and experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps or similar tools
- Understanding of Git concepts such as branching, merging, pull requests, and conflict resolution
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Team player with a 'can-do' attitude and a growth mindset towards learning new skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree is preferred
- Relevant certifications such as Azure Fundamentals/Developer/Architect/Administrator etc.
- Contributions to projects on GitHub, developer communities like Stack Overflow, Microsoft Q&A, published blog posts etc.
- Experience working in a global environment involving multiple development teams across various time zones
- Prior development experience with Java technologies
