Job Summary
Design and maintain high-performance Java microservices for geospatial analysis, ETL, and visualization tools, ensuring scalability with relational and NoSQL databases. Lead technical design for geospatial features while collaborating with cross-functional teams and product managers to translate requirements into robust solutions. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to uphold quality standards and best practices. Requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, seven years of program and contract experience, and expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Kubernetes, and geospatial data optimization.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Seven (7) years' experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- In-depth knowledge of Java and associated frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.)
- Experience with cloud-based development and deployment
- Solid understanding of database design and optimization for geospatial data
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Leadership experience in guiding and mentoring development teams
