Job Summary
Role focuses on end-to-end billing and collections for B2B customers. Generate, review, and issue invoices; ensure invoices are accurate and issued per contractual terms; reconcile billing data against contracts, meter reads, and system records; manage billing adjustments, credits, and disputes; maintain invoice records and audit trails. Lead accounts receivable in aging management, execute structured collections across channels, and escalate high-risk accounts with documented history and recommended actions. Spearhead onboarding for new customers and portfolios, review contracts for billing terms and payment schedules, and translate contract terms into billing system configurations. Ensure data quality across financial and operational systems, aggregate data from multiple sources, identify discrepancies, and support data pipeline QC. Develop cross-functional resolution for data issues and ensure accurate system entry.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, collections, or servicing operations in a B2B environment
- Hands-on experience with accounting or invoicing platforms such as Xero, Intacct, NetSuite, or similar
- Demonstrated experience reviewing and interpreting commercial contracts, including billing, payment, and escalation terms
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies across large data sets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience managing difficult customer conversations professionally
