Job Summary
Act as network subject-matter expert (SME) for trading and corporate network projects from design to production. Provide architectural guidance on trading networks, market data distribution, and exchange connectivity. Review and validate network designs, implementation plans, and change proposals. Advise on colocation, cross-connect, redundancy, and capacity planning initiatives. Work closely with Project management, Network Operations, Trading applications, Security, and external vendors. Support risk assessments, technical governance, and production readiness reviews. Ensure network solutions align with regulatory, audit, and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in network architecture/engineering within Financial Services Industry (FSI) or exchange environments
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Professional certification such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent is preferred
