Job Summary
Ideate and accelerate critical initiatives across clinical, operations, and technology domains by partnering with executive leadership to translate high-stakes priorities into structured plans and measurable outcomes. Act as a strategic "air traffic controller" to ensure alignment on cross-functional projects, while identifying operational gaps and designing scalable solutions. Partner with teams to pilot and scale AI-enabled solutions, surfacing risks and opportunities to improve execution. Build durable processes and frameworks that raise performance standards, requiring technical proficiency to prototype dashboards and dive into data. Serve as a trusted thought partner to senior leaders, proactively driving delivery of the innovation agenda. This role operates within a hybrid structure at Astrana's Alhambra office, with a base salary of $140,000-$160,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong critical thinking skills
- First principles thinking
- Demonstrated strength in at least two of the following focus areas: Clinical care, Operations, Product/technology
- Ability to move fluidly between strategy and execution
- Sharp diagnostic instincts
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity without needing clearly defined roles or boundaries

- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to bridge across engineering, business, and medicine/clinical languages
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- Clinical experience (e.g. MD) who understands care delivery workflow, quality and clinical performance
- Deep operations experience (e.g. running or scaling clinical operations, claims, utilization management)
- Technical or coding background –– not to push production level code, but sufficient to code POCs or building a dashboard that surfaces insight from ambiguous data
- Experience diving into data yourself, building dashboard apps and possible prototypes
