Job Summary
Advise on leveraged and acquisition financings, refinancings, and recapitalisations for sponsors, lenders, and corporate borrowers. Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security documents, and intercreditor agreements, managing transactions from inception to closing. Collaborate with colleagues across global offices on multi-jurisdictional matters with complex structures. Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives. Requires a qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with at least 4 years post-qualification experience in Leveraged Finance.
Required Qualifications
- A qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
- at least 4 years post qualification experience
- Strong technical skills with experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating documentation
- Prior Leveraged Finance experience
- Experience from a highly ranked practice or team
- Experience in advising on cross border matters
- Excellent people skills and a good, clear communication style
- Ability to work effectively within an established, close-knit team
- Be a self-starter, and be willing to be challenged by taking on work outside their comfort zone
- Demonstrate ability to confidently interact with clients and develop business pro-actively
- A commercial and pragmatic outlook
- Have attained degree certificate(s) from a reputed institution, achieving a minimum grade of 2:1 or equivalent
