Job Summary
Implement automated test cases for UI and API within CI/CD pipelines to ensure product quality before releases. Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to develop automation plans, increase suite coverage, and integrate test suites for scalable, remotely deployed components. Curate reports for stakeholders while maintaining high standards across manual and automated efforts to reduce release cycles. This role supports the Belfast team's Active MultiSite product changes, focusing on data-centric and integration testing using Java, Selenium, and distributed system frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS/IT) or 1 to 3 years of professional experience in software development or software testing
- Experience writing code in an Object-Oriented language such as Java
- Experience with version control systems such as Git, Subversion
Desired Qualifications
- Over 1 year of experience of writing test automation
- Experience writing web-page automation preferably using Selenium and Java
- Experience with testing distributed systems
- Knowledge of Linux administration, packaging and command line use
- Knowledge of Scripting languages (Shell, Bash, Python)
- Knowledge of virtualization / containerization technologies
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks, including JUnit, TestNG
