Job Summary
Manage daily receiving, distribution, inventory control, and transportation of medical products, including hazardous materials and controlled substances. Resolve high volumes of incoming requests via phone, mail, and fax regarding expediting, returns, and invoice discrepancies. Research and fix problem transactions involving unreceived invoices and aged items on proof of delivery. Ensure data integrity through reporting on special handling instructions and critical orders while identifying trends causing processing delays. Collaborate with suppliers, physicians, and internal staff to implement long-term solutions and comply with governmental regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Two (2) years' supply chain or business-related experience
- Associate's Degree plus one (1) year of experience (considered equivalent)
- Driver's license (under specific circumstances)
- Strong personal computer skills
