Job Summary
Associate Scientist, Research Laboratory Operations at Revolution Medicines focusing on in vivo rodent pharmacology studies, vivarium management, and supervision of research associates. Plan, conduct, analyze, and report in vivo efficacy and PK/PD studies in mice; develop pre-clinical models; manage vivarium operations including weekend staffing; train junior team members; interface with cross-functional teams; formulate and administer drugs via various routes; troubleshoot facility and animal-welfare issues; contribute to SOP improvements and ensure compliance with animal welfare guidelines; requires BS or MS in Biology or Pharmacology or equivalent experience, with strong mouse handling, proficiency in Prism/Excel/PowerPoint/Word, and experience in cancer models and immunotherapy.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in Biology or Pharmacology related discipline (or 5 - 8 years of relevant experience)
- Proficiency with mouse handling techniques including dosing (IV, PO, SC, IP), tumor inoculation/measurements, in life and terminal blood collection, survival surgeries, and handling of tissues during necropsy and processing for ex vivo analysis
- Computer literacy with GraphPad Prism, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Research experience with mouse models of cancer and/or cancer immunotherapy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work in multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work independently on day-to-day responsibilities and research goals
