Job Summary
Conduct formulation development and characterization activities under supervision while preparing reports, summaries, protocols, batch records, and quantitative analyses. Maintain clear laboratory notebooks and perform secondary review of colleagues' work for scientific accuracy and compliance as assigned. Execute experimental design and problem-solving for outcomes, ensuring decisions impact only personal workload. Work Monday-Friday 8 AM -4:30 PM in San Diego, CA, with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant science required. This role supports preclinical and clinical drug product development at Site Catalent's San Diego facility, focusing on small-molecule and peptide programs from preformulation through cGMP manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a physical, chemical, biological, or pharmaceutical science
- Ability to walk, sit and stand
- Ability to use hands to handle or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms at or above shoulder height and below waist height
- Ability to climb or balance
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to talk and hear
- Ability to smell
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Specific vision requirements including reading of written documents
- Ability to perform visual inspection of materials
- Ability to use a computer monitor screen frequently
- 100% Onsite availability
- Monday-Friday 8 AM -4:30 PM schedule
