Job Summary
Execute overnight peptide synthesis workflows including resin loading, coupling, deprotection, cleavage, purification, and analytical characterization using microwave-assisted solid-phase synthesis. Run HPLC and LC-MS to purify candidates, record batch-level QC data, and prepare samples for in vitro and in vivo testing. Troubleshoot failed couplings, instrument downtime, and synthesis issues while maintaining accurate experimental records. Handoff clean, well-documented results to the day team. Work a dedicated night-shift schedule in San Francisco, reporting directly to founders and scientists from MIT and Harvard Medical School.
