Job Summary
Operate Canberra Gamma systems and NDA systems, including performing measurement control activities and analyzing data to prepare NDA results reports for review. Assist in field measurements and system maintenance. Requires understanding of waste system theory, operational knowledge of NDA systems, and the ability to communicate effectively through report writing.
Required Qualifications
- Six months to one year of nuclear related experience
- Understanding of waste system theory and operation
- Understanding of operation of NDA systems
- Proficient in communication and drafting of reports for customer use
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training in nuclear related fields
- Proficiency in computer use
Additional Requirements
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Q-clearance
- Capable of maintaining work site access requirements
- Capable of successfully completing contractor/customer required training
- Able to work in extreme temperatures for extended periods of time
