Job Summary

Associate Scientist in Oncology Research responsible for designing and executing cell-based assays to characterize immune cell and cancer cell responses to novel biologics (masked T-cell engagers and ADCs); independently design and implement experiments, maintain cell cultures, analyze data, and contribute to group discussions and project meetings; collaborate across a multidisciplinary team, communicate results clearly, and ensure rigorous documentation and timeline-driven deliverables. Requires MS with 5+ years or PhD with industry experience; hands-on experience with tissue culture, flow cytometry, cytokine analyses (ELISA/MSD), and experience in early drug discovery workflows and cloning are preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • MS (5+ years) or equivalent advanced degree in cell-biology, immunology, or related field; 5+ years of relevant industry experience preferred; or
  • PhD (0-1 year) or equivalent advanced degree in cell-biology, immunology, or related field; industry experience preferred.
  • Please note that a presentation of a scientific seminar is required during the interview process

Desired Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with tissue culture and proficiency in executing cell-based assays including but not limited to reporter assays, cytotoxicity assays, immune cell-based assays
  • Experience with flow cytometry, cytokine analysis, ELISA, MSD
  • Experience in early drug discovery workflows, specifically with screening of biologics
  • Molecular biology techniques including cloning
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
