Job Summary
Associate Scientist for in vitro screening and pre-clinical development to execute cell-based assays to evaluate potency, mechanism of action, and pharmacological properties of biologic therapeutics; optimize experimental workflows; support screening campaigns for monoclonal, multispecific, and TCR-mimic antibodies; collaborate across Alloy sites in a fast-paced, lab-based environment; maintain cell cultures, process human leukopaks and PBMCs, present data, and ensure timely, accurate documentation and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. and M.S. in Cell or Molecular Biology, or a related field, with 2-4 years of relevant industry experience
- Strong understanding of immunology and extensive hands-on laboratory experience
- Significant cell culture and flow cytometry experience required
- Experience with antibody-based therapeutics is preferred
- Proficient at fundamental cell and molecular biology assays (ELISA/MSD, AlphaLISA, and other methods)
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize instrumentation
- Direct experience with immune cell-based assays a plus
- Direct experience handling human blood, leukopak processing, and PBMC isolations a plus
- Hands on experience isolating and/or expanding primary immune cell subsets a plus
- Excellent organization, clear communication and teamwork abilities in a multidisciplinary setting
- Ability to effectively multitask and deliver results within project-driven timelines
- Thrives working on a team and collaborating with others to achieve project goals
- Enjoys a dynamic and exciting work environment
