Job Summary
Maintain accurate digital records of research protocols, procedures, study data, inventories, and reports. Collaborate with principal investigators, veterinarians, and facility managers to carry out in vivo discovery research and administer anesthetic agents under supervision. Independently recognize study hurdles and propose solutions while managing timelines and ensuring data accuracy within corporate databases. Communicate study results and interpret data for cross-functional teams while complying with US and company-specific regulations including the Animal Welfare Act and FDA guidelines. Work onsite during day shifts with rotational weekend availability in a collaborative laboratory animal science environment focused on research and animal colony management.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a relevant field
- 5 years of equivalent experience
- Animal handling and dosing experience
- Some technical and scientific skills
- willingness to understand the R&D process
- Ability to independently recognize challenges (technical, scientific, or study-related) and provide relevant input for solution/problem solving
- Proactive, innovative, and solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
