Associate Scientist – Cell Biology in Translational Research

Job Summary
Associate Scientist in Mechanistic Pharmacology to develop human in vitro models and functional assays across cardiovascular, renal, and hematology indications; perform cell culture and functional assays, generate high-quality data to characterize mode of action of therapeutic candidates, and contribute to design, optimization, and improvement of experimental approaches with rigorous data quality and documentation. Collaborates across projects, maintains laboratory safety, and supports implementation of best practices; requires independent work, strong molecular biology and analytical skills, and proficiency in RT-qPCR, immunoassays, flow cytometry, and imaging techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent relevant laboratory experience
- 3+ years of practical laboratory experience in cell biology
- Strong expertise in human cell culture; experience with iPSC-derived in vitro models highly preferred
- Proficiency in molecular biology, RT-qPCR, immunoassays, flow cytometry (FACS), or imaging-based techniques
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of experiments from study design through execution, analysis, and presentation of results
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams and stakeholders
