Job Summary
Associate Scientist 2 on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract to support the viral clearance team in the design and delivery of regulatory compliant virus clearance studies. Responsibilities include performing routine tasks to support GLP/GMP operations, ensuring laboratories/equipment are maintained in the validated state, and working under the oversight of the Study Director alongside the Process Scientist. Must be available for an Early/Daily/Late shift rota with overtime and flexible hours as required; requires an HND or higher in Biological Sciences and 1+ years of relevant laboratory experience, data entry into databases, neat/documentation skills, and strong teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- HND or higher qualification in Biological Sciences or a related subject
- 1+ years of relevant experience working in a biological lab, ideally working in a regulated environment (GLP/GMP)
- Computer literacy and experience with entry of data into databases
- Ability to complete documentation neatly and accurately
- Ability to work with a team
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts to cover testing requirements
