Job Summary
Review Contractor P6 schedules, identify missing scope, logic or milestones; analyze critical path; assess cost loading and provide written comments per LAUSD templates. Review monthly updates and document milestone slippage and critical path slippage; create filters, layouts, and bar-charts in Primavera P6 to support project management in analyzing schedule issues. Perform QA/QC on contractor submittals for conformance with contract scope and scheduling guidelines; ensure data integrity and generate Earned Value curves per EVA templates; prepare reports for scheduling management.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years full-time paid professional experience responsible in Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably on multiple educational facilities or public works projects or scheduling for various projects in a program
- Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, drawings and contract specifications to earn insight into the required scope of work for multiple school construction projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff
- Superior organizational and planning skills
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, construction engineering or related field
