Job Summary
The Lane Bryant Associate creates a hospitable store environment through customer engagement to contribute to company goals. Responsibilities include Sales and Service: identifying customer needs and building trust by sharing current products, fit and fashion trends, and reinforcing the brand experience. Operations: supports store operations, prioritizes tasks, protects assets, and adheres to policies and applicable laws. The role emphasizes strong communication, brand representation, omni-channel experience, and leveraging mobile tools to engage customers. The position requires flexible scheduling, physical tasks (lifting/moving merchandise, ladder work), and a commitment to excellent customer service. Required Qualifications
- Strong sales or hospitality experience preferred with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient and confident utilizing mobile technology (e.g. Registers and iPad) to engage with customers
- Adjust or move store fixtures including but not limited to garment racks, mannequins, shipment boxes or merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds in all directions; may need to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Retrieve merchandise displayed or stored above shoulder level; may include climbing up to a 12-foot ladder; may replace overhead lightbulbs or signs on an occasional basis using a 12-foot ladder
