Job Summary
Associate Sales Representative in Baxter’s Surgical portfolio serving the Northeast geography. Build trust with doctors and nurses, expand new business and existing accounts, and ensure patient-centric outcomes. Field-based role with travel across assigned territory (up to ~75%), engaging surgeons, nurses, and operating room staff; conducting product demonstrations, driving clinical adoption, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Independently formulate selling strategies, meet sales quotas, and utilize Salesforce for activity tracking. Requires primarily a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ sales experience (medical device experience strongly preferred) and strong communication/presentation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 2+ years’ experience or minimum 2 years’ experience in an inside or field sales role in the healthcare or similar industry preferred
- Medical device experience strongly preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of clinical workflow/clinical language, hospital environment a plus
- Computer literate (strong understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Salesforce knowledge is a plus
- Excellent formal presentation skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to speak clearly and articulately over the phone
- Flexible, autonomous, and the ability to collaborate with multiple team members to ensure customer satisfaction
- Must be willing/able to travel at least 50-75%
- Assigned geographic territory may span several states
- Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
