Job Summary
Execute sales activities and lead in-service activities for Sedation Management products within a multi-state region, focusing on customer satisfaction and increased utilization. Install necessary equipment, perform functional safety tests, and coordinate product introductions and demos with clinicians and staff. Drive expansion of Acute Care and Monitoring products by collaborating with field sales teams and managing inventory balancing at site and warehouse levels. This field-based role requires 75% travel, including significant overnight trips, and is based in Boston or New York City.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate's degree with 2 years' of relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
- Bachelor's degree with 0 years' of relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
- Must live or be able to relocate within 50 miles of Boston, MA or New York City
- A valid driver's license
- Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years' previous field sales experience
- Prior medical device, business to business or pharmaceutical sales experience
- Knowledge of sales techniques typically gained through education and / or on the job learning
- Introductory knowledge of company products and services
- Demonstrable, consistent success in previous roles indicated by a high level of performance
- Strong customer focus in delivering sales and building relationships
- Understanding of vendor, distributor, hospital supply chain management
- Willingness to travel to support conversions for extended periods of time
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
- Hardworking driven individual with effective persuasion skills
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)
