Associate Sales Representative - Acute Care and Monitoring (New Orleans)

Job Summary

Execute sales activities and lead in-service activities for disposables and hardware within a key customer base. Install necessary equipment, perform functional and safety tests, and collaborate with customers to drive product expansion and increase utilization. Coordinate inventory balancing exercises at site and warehouse levels while supporting conversions outside the assigned region as needed. Manage individual quota responsibility in tandem with sales representatives under the Regional Business Manager's direction. This field-based role requires 75% travel over a multi-state region with significant overnight travel and non-traditional hours. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of New Orleans and hold a valid driver's license.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree with 2 years' of relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
  • Bachelor's degree with 0 years' of relevant experience in sales, clinical, or related in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
  • Must live or be able to relocate within 50 miles of New Orleans
  • Valid driver's license
  • Unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-3 years' previous field sales experience
  • Prior medical device, business to business or pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Knowledge of sales techniques typically gained through education and / or on the job learning
  • Introductory knowledge of company products and services
  • Demonstrable, consistent success in previous roles indicated by a high level of performance
  • Strong customer focus in delivering sales and building relationships
  • Understanding of vendor, distributor, hospital supply chain management
  • Willingness to travel to support conversions for extended periods of time
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
  • Hardworking driven individual with effective persuasion skills
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)
