Job Summary
Associate Sales Operations Analyst to transform complex data into actionable strategies, own reporting on sales pipeline, bookings, headcount, and productivity, support annual planning and sales territory strategy, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize sales performance. Based in Appian HQ in McLean, VA with in-office 5 days a week.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or another STEM-related field at an accredited North American college or university
- Strong foundation in analytical thinking, financial modeling, quantitative coursework, or related academic experience
- Proficient in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and structured spreadsheet design
- Strong process development and technical writing experience, with the ability to document and improve workflows
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and methodical in approach, with strong accuracy when working with numbers and data
- Willingness to support a variety of projects in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with a clear and concise communication style
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience using AI tools to support data cleaning, analysis, and presentation of information; Previous internship or professional experience in finance, analytics, consulting, operations, or a related quantitative field; Exposure to data analysis, financial modeling, or business intelligence tools beyond Excel/Sheets
