Job Summary
The Sales Associate is responsible for processing merchandise and assisting with the efficient operation of the retail store, assisting customers and handling customer transactions, performing basic record keeping functions and other basic retail operations duties as assigned. Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner; build connections, assess shoppers’ needs, and guide them to meet shopping goals. Receive, price and stock donations, hang and tag textiles, maintain store presentations, and restock proactively. Operate cash register and process payments accurately. Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow loss prevention and inventory control procedures. Provide excellent customer service, support teamwork, and uphold ethics policies. This role involves routine janitorial duties and adherence to store safety standards, with regular attendance and punctuality emphasized. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year minimum experience working successfully in retail customer service oriented environment.
- Ability to bend, lift, grasp and move continuously through the day.
- Good verbal communication skills with ability to effectively work as a team to achieve mission goals
