Associate Sales Director, Data and Channels

Job Summary
Lead data and channels sales efforts for environmental data to strategic channels (consultants, vendors, software providers, and stock exchanges) with a focus on EMEA; manage a nimble sales team, build and maintain client relationships, develop tailored proposals, negotiate licenses and contracts, and stay informed on market trends to drive growth. Role is hybrid with in-office presence in London at least two days a week. Responsibilities include sales strategy execution, pipeline management, forecasting, and representing CDP at events; requires senior-level experience in sustainability sales, strong negotiation and communication skills, and a deep understanding of data-driven environmental solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant degree qualification or equivalent experience
- Senior experience in business development and sales within the sustainability sector
- Experience in EMEA essential; APAC desirable
- Regulatory fluency in climate frameworks, regulations and standards
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Knowledge of Dynamics 365 (D365) and related CRM tools
- Ability to develop and present compelling proposals and negotiations
- Experience leading a sales team and driving business development in a partner-driven ecosystem
