Job Summary
Work with business users to identify value-added opportunities through data analytics, articulate requirements, and design suitable data solutions. Analyze large volumes of diverse risk data using appropriate analytics, visualization, and data science techniques within the Big Data and Analytics Platform. Build data pipelines for self-service business intelligence queries and optimize existing workflows to smoothen processes. Engage with the Chief Data Office to design and refine the risk data framework while innovating new data and analytics concepts across the department.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a Data Analytics SME, Business Intelligence Engineer, Data Scientist or similar role
- Experience in conducting data and statistical analysis
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and a constantly changing environment
- Hands on experience of Python, VBA or similar coding languages
- Demonstrated strength in SQL, data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing
- Understanding of statistical models
- Experience in BRD and FS preparation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in developing analytics solution on data in the large scale and financial industry / risk management
- Ability to independently influence and drive delivery, set clear expectations and roadmaps
- Data driven thinking
- Experience in Financial Markets (e.g. exchange, brokerage, trading institution) and knowledge of financial products
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, able to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams
