Job Summary
Craft unforgettable domestic and international travel experiences including cruises, land tours, flights, and hotels by leveraging personal travel expertise to inspire and guide clients. Process bookings, payments, and travel documentation while ensuring compliance with ARC, DOT, and AAA policies, and resolve client concerns under management guidance. Build long-term relationships to turn first-time clients into loyal travelers and educate them on exclusive AAA benefits and perks. Attend promotional events, training, and familiarization trips to stay ahead in the industry. This role offers a path for career growth with structured training, mentorship, and required certification, alongside a 37.5-hour work week with Sundays off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of retail experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a retail/leisure travel agent (or other comparable travel experience)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational ability
- Proficiency with travel booking systems and web-based applications
- Working knowledge of geography
- Certified Travel Associate (CTA) designation
- Satisfactory pre-employment and post-employment screening results including criminal, drug, and state and/or vendor specific screenings
- Ability to obtain necessary Membership license (or others) as required to perform the essential functions of the position
- Must reside within the footprint that AAA Club Alliance Inc. operates
