Job Summary
Associate Research Scientist, Evidence Generation role contributing to cross-functional, mixed-methods research in HEOR. Responsibilities include supporting study execution (literature reviews, development of data collection instruments, study protocols, data collection, analysis and interpretation, dissemination activities), contributing to deliverables under senior guidance, project management to maintain timelines, client-facing support (updating slides, meeting notes), and business development through drafting background sections and timelines for proposals. Requires Master’s or PhD in related field, 1-2 years of research experience, proficiency in qualitative/quantitative methods, experience with NVivo/Dedoose/R/SAS/Stata, strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to work both independently and in a diverse team. Remote-friendly with potential LA office consideration; compensation range $66,000–$94,000 USD, plus benefits and discretionary bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in health services research e.g., health economics, public policy, health policy, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health or related discipline
- 1-2 years of relevant prior research experience
- Proficiency in quantitative and/or qualitative research methods
- Experience in data analysis platforms/programs (e.g. Dedoose, NVivo, R, SAS, Stata)
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a diverse team
- Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills
