Associate Research Analyst

Job Summary
Establish and maintain relationships with member companies while coordinating engagement activities such as study groups, conference presentations, and webinars. Conduct primary and secondary research projects, manage regular data-gathering efforts including benchmarks and member surveys, and serve as a peer reviewer for both Institutional Retirement and the broader Workplace Benefits team. Apply both qualitative and quantitative approaches to uncover actionable insights that support strategic planning and industry benchmarking. This hybrid role requires on-campus presence as needed and balances ongoing analytical work with timely topical projects.
Required Qualifications
- College Degree (business, economics, research financial, mathematics, finance, statistics or related)
- Mathematic and statistic skills to work with data and develop reports
- Ability to recognize patterns to find useful information in data that's sometimes unstructured
- Ability to apply both qualitative and quantitative approaches to research
- Attention to detail, research, fact-checking and validation skills to ensure valid data sources and verify accuracy
- Ability to use Microsoft Office suite of products
- Sound written and oral communication skills
- Customer service mind-set and approach
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability and willingness to take initiative
- Willingness to learn the industry, develop needed skills, and contribute to the team's success
- This is a hybrid position which requires on campus presence as needed, you should be able to easily commute to the Windsor, CT office
