Job Summary
Associate Regulatory Compliance Manager responsible for coordinating regulatory assessments, developing and maintaining product and market regulatory documentation, reviewing artwork for regulatory compliance, and supporting submissions across systems; works with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance for new product development, cost-down, and sustainability initiatives across global markets; requires knowledge of US/Canadian regulatory requirements for chemical-based consumer products and hands-on experience in regulatory documentation, risk assessment, and third-party systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a life science, regulatory affairs or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the consumer product regulatory discipline
- Strong working knowledge of US and Canadian regulatory requirements relating to chemical-based consumer products, preferably adhesives, coatings, paints, craft, DIY and similar formulated products
- Experience supporting regulatory compliance for formulated chemical-based consumer products, including raw material review, product compliance documentation, and hazard communication/classification principles
- Ability to interpret legislation and data, and support mitigation strategies
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with multi-project experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills; present to all levels
- IT literate with Microsoft Office
