Job Summary

Oversee department operations and short- and long-term projects, managing student data and SIS support for all University colleges. Direct transcript/certification processing, registration, course inventories, class scheduling, grading, and student services while ensuring data integrity, compliance, and policy adherence. Collaborate with IT, Enrollment Management, Provost, and academic departments to achieve University goals, leading teams to facilitate implementations and procedural changes. Maintain high standards of customer service and accuracy in a fast-paced environment requiring complex problem-solving and strong leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of administrative experience, including supervision of staff, data management, student information systems, and operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of personnel
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under hard deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, system and institutional policies related to records, registration, verification, and evaluation
  • Good judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidences
  • Ability to make presentations in small and large groups
  • Ability to evaluate and implement technological improvements to meet best practices
  • Knowledge of data management and reporting
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, and student information systems, with the ability and willingness to quickly learn new systems and software
  • Ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy when in dealing with difficult issues and/or diverse organizations
  • Ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty, staff, parents, professional colleagues, and the public
  • Strong managerial and leadership skills with an ability to foster a cooperative work environment

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • 4+ years in a college or university level Registrar or Enrollment Management office
  • Proficiency in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions
  • Proven record of exemplary customer service
  • Ability to lead a team to facilitate implementations and/or procedural change
