Job Summary
Record and process contribution and withdrawal transactions for registered accounts including RRSP, RRIF, RESP, TFSA, and FHSA. Provide first-line support to advisory teams regarding registered plan products and processes to ensure policy adherence and regulatory compliance. Respond to client inquiries and complete all transaction and record-keeping functions with strong attention to detail. Research internal and external resources to stay informed on regulatory changes and procedures. Collaborate with team members to share best practices and participate in educating new associates on registered plan accounts. Requires comprehensive knowledge of registered products and CRA rules, with experience in the Dataphile system an asset. Onsite role in Canada with a salary range of $50,000 - $55,000.
Required Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of registered products (RRSP, RRIF, RESP, TFSA and FHSA)
- Solid understanding of the CRA rules and tax reporting requirements for registered plans
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced and client-focused environment
- Polished client service skills and excellent verbal and written communication
- Capacity to independently seek out solutions and apply sound judgement in problem solving
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Dataphile system is an asset
- Proof of citizenship, permanent residence or eligibility to work in Canada with no restrictions
