Job Summary
Hybrid Associate Regional Sales Director role leading field sales and education strategy across the Western U.S. with a focus on Sephora and Ulta Beauty. Partners with the National Director to drive sales, education, and brand initiatives, and directly coaches 2+ Sales & Education Managers or Coordinators. Manages travel across 30-40 Sephora/Ulta locations, supports in-store activations, visits, and events, and recruits/manage freelance talent to ensure optimal coverage. Builds retailer relationships, delivers training, tracks KPIs, and collaborates with HQ teams on activations and door-specific support. Requires strong leadership, budgeting oversight, and ability to travel up to 70% with some overnights and weekends. Based in Los Angeles and available Saturdays. Responsibilities include leadership of territory, coaching, in-market execution, event strategy, and cross-functional collaboration; responsibilities also cover remote-store support, performance reporting, and brand alignment across Sephora and Ulta locations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in field sales and education (Sephora/Ulta experience strongly preferred)
- Deep knowledge of Sephora and/or Ulta operations, culture, and expectations
- Proven multi-door sales leadership with a track record of exceeding goals
- Experience coaching or managing direct reports preferred
- Strong business acumen, retail math skills, and data analysis capabilities
- Skilled in building retailer relationships and cross-functional collaboration
- Exceptional time management, organization, and communication skills
- Able to travel up to 70% of the time; flexible hours including weekends and some evenings
- Must be available Saturdays
- Must be based in Los Angeles
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required
- Ability to stand up to 8 hours and lift up to 30 lbs
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
