Job Summary

Assist with property tax assessments and reviews to identify potential tax savings opportunities by analyzing valuations and gathering documentation. Conduct research on property tax laws, regulations, and market trends to support client engagements while preparing reports and appeal filings. Collaborate with clients to organize property records and maintain accurate case files, ensuring deadlines and filing requirements are met. Work closely with senior team members on assessment appeals to develop technical knowledge and contribute to successful client outcomes. This role builds a strong foundation in property tax law and valuation analysis for an early-career professional.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, accounting, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Minimum 2-5 years experience in property tax consulting, real estate, or a related field
  • Comprehensive knowledge of property tax laws, valuation methodologies, and appeal processes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and property data
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in [relevant software/tools, e.g., property tax management systems, MS Office Suite]
  • Certification as a Property Tax Consultant (CPTC) or related credential
