Job Summary
Analyst/Associate, Real Estate – Japan, based in Tokyo, will screen and evaluate deals through market research, financial analysis, and cash-flow modelling; assess investment feasibility and prepare internal approval papers; assist in managing deals through due diligence, negotiation, structuring, and closing; participate in asset management by developing annual strategic asset plans, budgets, and overseeing implementation; monitor asset performance against budgets and benchmarks; support business development and relationship building. Requires strong financial modelling skills (cash flow, waterfall, returns), teamwork, critical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication; bilingual in Japanese and English. Flexible hybrid arrangement with four days in-office per week and some remote work."
Required Qualifications
- Preferably a Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or a similar discipline
- 1 to 5 years' relevant working experience in investment and/or asset management
- Bilingual in Japanese and English
- Strong financial modelling skills, including building cash flow, waterfall, and returns models for real estate transactions
- Strong teamwork and collaborative mindset
- Strong critical thinking and business acumen
- Attention to detail and an ability to deal with operational processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
