Job Summary
Perform limited radiological procedures and assist radiologists in exams and procedures to obtain a diagnosis that provides the best possible care for patients. Assist in obtaining diagnostic imaging within the scope of your license while supporting the radiology team at Providence Centralia Hospital. This per-diem role requires current enrollment in a two-year ARRT certified program and includes a six-month window to register and pass the ARRT examination. You must also hold a Washington X-Ray Technician Registration or Temporary Practice Permit upon hire, along with National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a two-year ARRT certified community college/vocational training program
- Washington X-Ray Technician Registration
- Washington X-Ray Technician Temporary Practice Permit
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 6 months experience in all areas of radiography
Desired Qualifications
- It is preferred that the employee register and pass the ARRT examination within six months of graduation from a JCERT accredited x-ray program
