Job Summary
Execute manual and automated test suites to validate solutions against customer requirements and acceptance criteria. Translate business needs into test scenarios and cases while maintaining requirements traceability. Coordinate quality control activities, gather defect data, and perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues. Document testing results, qualify defects, and advise the Test Lead on risks and impacts. Support project teams through agile cycles by ensuring code quality and deployment automation improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years in software testing in relevant technologies
- Experience with testing and configuration management tools and techniques
- Experience testing web-based solutions and data integration solutions
- Experience using testing tools and issue/defect tracking tools
- Preferred understanding of technical concepts including HTTP, HTML, web services, XML, javascript, messaging, Linux, Oracle DB, and SQL
- Software development experience preferred–programming on java, javascript, cucumber, selenium, etc
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and continuous integration tools
- Experience in designing test plans, test scenarios and test activities
- Exposure to big data technologies a plus – Apache Spark, Elastic search, Cassandra
- Healthcare domain expertise working with data/analytics technologies is a bonus
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or engineering preferred
