Job Summary
Review user requirements and functional specifications to translate them into test cases for the platform upgrade project. Execute UAT planning and within tight timelines, then follow up on test cases and scripts to document results and problem logs systematically. Coordinate with the IT development team to identify resolutions and retest strategies while contributing to timely project delivery. Maintain UAT problem logs and ensure all deliverables meet project scope expectations. This 12-month contract role supports the Risk Systems and Analytics Solutions Team at HKEX's Clearing & Depository division.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree, preferably in Risk Management / Engineering / Mathematics or related subject
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in well-established financial organizations
- Experience in medium or large scale project UAT
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Familiar with various project management tools eg. Confluence, JIRA, etc.
- Proficient with Excel, VBA and preferably the ability to work with programming languages such as Python and SQL
- A team player and a self-starter, who can proactively engage with peers and clients, take ownership to ensure timely completion of all deliverables
- Ability to work at a fast pace in a team and adapt style to ensure the project is successful
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or exposure to OTC (Over‐the‐Counter) businesses and related workflows is preferred
