Associate Quality Account Manager II

Job Summary

Lead planning, resource allocation, and workload management for the customer-focused team while supervising up to five associates. Direct supervision includes interviewing, hiring, training, mentoring, and addressing performance issues for new Quality Coordinators. Manage customer contacts, expectations, and quarterly business reviews, serving as the primary escalation point for quality-related issues and defect investigations. Generate and present quality metrics and key performance indicators to internal business unit members and PCI management. Review, approve, and update Master Packaging Instructions, forms, and material specifications to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and cGMP policies. Investigate deviations, document formal reports, and track corrective and preventive actions within the Quality Management System. Assist with batch record reviews for completed and in-process orders to verify compliance. Meet with management to address deviation concerns and coordinate with the appropriate project manager and business unit. Attend conference calls, customer meetings, and visits, which may include travel.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A) from a four-year college or university
  • three to five years related experience and/or training
  • equivalent combination of education and experience
  • history of project accomplishment
  • leadership excellence
  • excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project
  • working knowledge of GMPs
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
  • Ability to effectively present information to management, and customers
  • strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms
