Job Summary
Debug simulation code to analyze math data and review formulas and math sheets. Develop, review, and execute test plans and automated scripts to verify math data, while following daily work instructions and utilizing required databases for quality assurance. Submit and track issues found during verification to ensure resolution, and provide input to weekly project status reports. Reproduce issues to assist software development in resolving problems before product release, and submit detailed completion reports at project end. Interface with development members to communicate and resolve reported issues timely.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience with Math fundamentals (Statistics and probability)
- Proficiency with analytical and logical skills
- Knowledge or experience with C++/C# programming
- Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Excel and Word
- M.Sc / B.Sc. (Statistics)
- M.Sc. / B.Sc. (Applied Mathematics)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge or experience with Python or other shell scripting languages a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with other team members
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Capable of providing input and potential solutions to identified issues
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Capable of working and completing tasks with minimal supervision
