Job Summary
Dive into quality assurance checks during internal development, ensuring only top-notch code makes it to test environments and production. Collaborate with engineers and product managers to clarify requirements, identify edge cases, and craft structured test scenarios and scripts that reflect business priorities. Create and execute tests while meticulously recording findings, then participate in bug triage and release readiness reviews to provide actionable feedback. Uncover, document, and track bugs with developers to ensure resolution, and prepare essential test plan documentation including cases, schedules, and progress reports. Work independently on projects while managing time, reporting, and risk, acting as a quality champion to elevate team testing practices.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional experience in Quality Assurance
- Experience in a professional software development environment
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Experience with testing methodologies and tools
- Hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL
- Proficiency with common version control systems like Git
- A full understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Desired Qualifications
- A proven track record of ensuring high-quality software delivery
- Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar
- The ability to quickly learn new systems and domains
