Job Summary
Read requirement and solution documents, then prepare and review test cases and scenarios. Execute tests, report defects, and analyze issues until closure while triaging customer-raised problems. Address functional queries from stakeholders and maintain knowledge of banking domain products and operations. Follow testing plans and quality processes strictly. This role requires experience in banking domain software testing, good SQL and Unix knowledge, and familiarity with tools like JIRA or Soap UI.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in testing of software applications/packages in banking domain
- Good SQL knowledge
- Knowledge of testing processes & activities
- Knowledge of banking domain
- Basic Unix knowledge
- Good communication skills – verbal & written
- Graduate or Post Graduate from a reputed university/college
Desired Qualifications
- GPP testing experience
- Knowledge of Quality Centre/JIRA
- Familiarity with deployment of web applications
- Experience in Web service testing using Soap UI tool
- Worked on automation tools
