Associate QA Consultant

Job Summary
Review and analyze system specifications to understand the scope of testing, then develop and execute manual test cases and scripts to ensure thorough coverage. Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution while collaborating with cross-functional teams for timely issue resolution. Participate in requirement and design reviews to provide input on test ability and quality aspects, and perform regression testing to confirm previously identified defects are fixed and no new issues have been introduced. Document test results and create comprehensive test reports, contributing to the improvement of QA processes and methodologies. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with minimum 3 years of experience in manual software testing. ISTQB certification is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Min 3 years of experience in manual software testing
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases
- Proficiency in testing web applications, mobile applications, and/or desktop applications
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Desired Qualifications
- ISTQB certification or similar certification is a plus
