Job Summary
Associate QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing; create and execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration test suites; collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to define test scenarios; identify, document, and track software defects; participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution; contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests; analyze test results and provide actionable quality insights; perform basic performance and load testing.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years hands-on experience in software testing and test automation
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing
- Experience with modern UI automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO)
- Experience implementing Page Object Model (POM) or similar patterns
- Experience automating REST API testing
- Familiarity with Postman or Playwright API
- Understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, authentication, and JSON validation
- Experience testing web applications
- Basic exposure to mobile automation using Appium or similar tools
- Programming proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Python
- Good understanding of OOP concepts
- Experience with load testing tools like JMeter
- Ability to analyze performance and identify bottlenecks
