Job Summary
Associate Public Relations Manager responsible for managing day-to-day consumer public relations activities and breakthrough campaigns with agencies and internal partners. Lead media outreach and influencer programs, edit/write press materials, coordinate events, and develop KPI-driven reports to drive PR effectiveness. Role collaborates with social media and content teams, supports media training, and ensures spokesperson readiness; hybrid work arrangement (50/50) at the Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or other related field
- 5+ years public relations experience (in-house or agency)
- Experience managing PR campaigns, working with social influencers/creators, and media relations
- Experience managing a PR agency
- Strong knowledge of modern PR and emerging earned media, influencer relations, and social media
- Vendor management experience
- Exceptional interpersonal and influence skills
- Solid business acumen and strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lead projects and cross-functional teams
- Strong project management and organizational skills; able to work under pressure and with firm deadlines
- Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (especially PowerPoint)
- Experience working with digital/social media
- Analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills and able to make data-driven recommendations
- Ability to adjust and adapt to fast-paced environment
- Consumer Products Industry experience preferred
