Job Summary
Coordinate with case managers to clarify requirements, obtain outstanding documentation, and ensure all data and materials are complete and accurate. Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism while ensuring compliance with settlement trust documentation and eligibility requirements. Partner with the Project Manager, Claims Operations, Data Services, and Finance to confirm file completeness before payment initiation, track payment statuses, and resolve discrepancies. Prepare internal reports on readiness and documentation completeness to identify trends and recurring issues. This 1-year contract role supports a global legal leader, requiring accurate processing of settlement funds and distribution processes.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of paralegal or legal support experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy under fast paced conditions
- Critical thinking and issue spotting abilities
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook
- Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent relevant experience
Desired Qualifications
- preferably in mass tort, claimant-based work, or settlement distribution processes
- Paralegal certificate
- Experience working directly with law firms or claimants
